The Zee Team

On the 9^th and 10^th of November 2013, Zee Team Events were invited to send ‘a few’ zombies to stalk customers visiting the first ever Sheffield Tattoo Show (held at the magnificent Magna Science and Technology Park).  We sent 30, just to be sure.

 

Our zombies spent the full two days stalking and scaring, avoiding Star Wars stormtroopers (even though it’s widely known they can’t hit a barn door at ten paces) and generally stealing the show.  Just how we like it.  The Zee Team also took this as an opportunity to ‘blood’ several new team members.  Most survived, the rest....well, check the bins at Magna that’s all we’re saying.....

 

Artists came from worldwide to demonstrate their skills, and the event was a massive success.  Unconfirmed reports suggest that at least 2 zombies were ‘inked’ over the course of the weekend, even the un-dead like body art it seems!  Makeup by Anne Derbyshire (and team), Lou Auckland and Steve Sears

Worsborough Mill Country Park.  Quiet.  Tranquil.  Beautiful. Well, it was before it hosted Zombie Run Barnsley – a 5k fun run filled with obstacles and, you guessed it, a horde of zombies!  All in the name of raising funds for Barnsley Hospital, this great event featured several Zee Team members including Patient Zero, Corporal Carnage, Vulgar Vicky, Emma Roid and D.O.A. to name but a few!

 

Runners were given 3 ‘lives’ each attached to their belts, with the zombies’ aim to steal these lives until the runner was ‘infected’.  Every runner received a medal for participating, with anyone finishing the course with at least one life intact gaining not only bragging rights but an exclusive ‘I Survived the Zombie Run T-shirt’.

 

Make-up for the day was provided by the wonderful Pamela Clare, Anne Derbyshire and a host of volunteers from various schools and colleges in the area.
